About the Founder
Hi, I'm Eddie! Founder of HALENIAN and a professional producer and director based in Toronto, Canada.
Ever since I was 12, I've wanted to be a film director. There's not even a close second place.
Top graduate from Sheridan College's Film & TV program, I've spent the last 5 years working as a full-time producer on commercial and web projects in Canada and the States. But in my spare-time, I'm an aspiring indie filmmaker with big dreams.
I've written, directed, and produced several short films already, with my most recent project, "OPIA", picking up international awards and recognition during its festival run.
But the sky's the limit, and there's plenty of room to grow as both a filmmaker and as a production company. I've got a lot of cool ideas I'm working on, and hope to get several projects off the ground and onto the screen over the next few years!
What Is
Halenian?
We'll admit, it's a made-up word. But it's one that holds (secret) meaning to its creator, pertaining to a dream project he hopes to make one day.
In terms of a production company, we are a new entity in the Canadian film world, hoping to carve out a niche in the sci-fi and drama genres. We produce unique short film concepts that explore human nature, technology, and modern dilemmas, often within a near-future setting.
While our catalog is primarily science fiction, we plan to expand into the drama, horror, and even comedy genres in the near-future. Our limits are only how far we're willing to let our creativity take us.
